Microsoft Office OneNote has a built in OCR (Optical Character
Recognition) which can recognize text in images accurately if ithe text
is not so complex or obfuscated. All you need to do is the following.
- Open Microsoft OneNote
- Drag an image that contains text into the One Note window.
- Rightclick on the image and select "COPY TEXT FROM PICTURE".
- That's it. The text is copied to clipboard.
- Now open any text editor say Notepad and paste the content.
OneNote is a very useful OCR tool, and can help you capture text from just about anything.
